Monti Fest 2018

In keeping with the tradition of the last 2 years, KCA Mumbai’s celebration of the Monti Fest will be held on Sunday, September 30, 2018. We once again invite you to attend the celebration of our cultural roots & traditions

This year, the elections for the KCA office bearers will also be held, so we hope to see you attend the AGM and the Monti Fest celebration in large numbers. Based on the feedback from some members, and since the elections are being held, we will not have a Monti Fest Mass at the KCA this year – as it was felt that the program would be too rushed.

A prayer service, followed by the blessing of the harvest and a procession to the KCA grotto will be held. The traditional celebration & lunch will be on the same lines as the last 2 years. Members are encouraged to attend Mass at Mount Mary’s church, before the program. Thereafter, we will assemble at the KCA for the MONTHI SAIBINISHI FEST and KCA AGM. Eligible members can cast their vote from 10.00 am – 12.30 pm.

Having a socially and culturally active Association, as well as having more members take an active interest in the affairs of the institution – both objectives are met by having the AGM and Monti Fest celebration on the same day. We hope to see you in large numbers and we are sure that once again, it will be a rewar   ding day for the entire family.
